AED 2.9 billion contract awarded to Al Habtoor/Murray & Roberts JVDubai, June 10th 2008
Nakheel, a Dubai World company and one of the world's largest and most innovative real estate developers, has signed a contract with an Al Habtoor / Murray & Roberts joint venture for the construction of the Trump International Hotel & Tower on Palm Jumeirah.

The contract valued at AED 2.9 billion has been awarded for the construction of the eagerly awaited 62-storey structure, which is set to become a focal point of the Palm Jumeirah. The 270 metre design, which has a total gross built-up area in excess of 250,000 square metres, will feature two towers that rise above the Palm Monorail and central park, merging as one towards the sky. The development comprises a unit mix of 378 hotel rooms and suites, 385 condominiums, 12 exclusive townhouses, and 45,000 square feet of retail and 60,000 square feet of office space.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai is the only planned mixed-use development in Dubai under the Trump name, bringing Donald Trump's internationally respected brand cache and legendary implementation, service standards and world class properties to the emirate for the first time. The building will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and a range of exclusive leisure facilities including a private beach, yacht club, and a multitude of fine dining experiences.Donald J. In September 2006, Mubadala signed an agreement with pioneering American healthcare institution, Cleve-land Clinic, to establish and operate a preeminent hospital in Abu Dhabi. The 360-bed multi-specialty hos-pital, known as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD), will be a unique and unparalleled extension of the Cleveland Clinic model. CCAD is due to open in the 1st quarter of 2011 with the objective of bringing world-class healthcare to the region.

In 2006, Mubadala acquired a co-controlling stake of the existing Al Rusail Power Company S.A.O.C, which owns and operates an existing open cycle, natural gas-fired power generation facility at Rusail in Oman.

The existing plant has a capacity of 668 megawatt and consists of eight Frame 9E gas turbines of GE design which were installed in three phases between 1984 and 2000.
The gas turbines are all operated in single cycle with no heat recovery arrangement. The plant enjoys a high utilisation factor and plays a key role in meeting the summer demand for power in the Muscat region.

All the production output is guaranteed by long term government-backed take-or-pay arrangements.
The Al Rusail Site is located approximately 45 kilometers west of Muscat in an industrial area and is connected to transmission and distribution systems at 132 kilovolts and 33 kilovolts.

Amers : l’oued Bouregreg se jette à la mer entre les villes de Salé au nord, et de Rabat au sud. L’ensemble des deux villes, leurs constructions blanches, leurs mosquées, la Qasbah des Oudayas qui domine la rive sud à l’est du phare et surtout la Tour Hassan haute de 55 mètres sur une falaise à l’est de Rabat, sont remarquables. Le phare de Rabat est situé à 0.45 M au SSW de l’extrémité de la jetée sud.Accès : base de départ de nombreux itinéraires touristiques, le port est protégé par la jetée nord et la jetée sud; l’entrée entre les deux extrémités des jetées est large de 250 mètres. L’accès dans le chenal s’effectue après appel en VHF 9 afin d’obtenir l’assistance de la capitainerie. Après cette entrée, deux diguettes balisent l’entrée du chenal. Celui-ci permet le passage de navires d’un tirant d’eau de 4 mètres.
